This notice covers the Alcra website. It describes what the site collects when you send an enquiry, and what happens to it afterwards.
Who we are
Alcra is a software company based in Harare, Zimbabwe. For anything in this notice, email [email protected].
What this site collects
Almost everything this website collects is what you type into the enquiry form and choose to send. Two things are recorded automatically when you submit it, and both are listed below.
- Your name, work email address and company or organisation.
- What you need help with, and your description of the project.
- Anything you optionally add: website, phone number, intended timing, budget range, and how you heard about us.
- Automatically: the page you submitted from, and the time you submitted.
- Automatically and briefly: your network address, counted for spam protection as described below and not stored with your message.
What we do with it
We use it to understand your enquiry and reply to you. It is delivered by email to [email protected] using Resend, an email delivery service, and it stays in that inbox. Nobody else receives it, and we do not use it to market to you.
What this site does not do
- It does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- It does not record your session or your keystrokes.
- It does not load fonts, scripts or images from third parties.
- It does not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.
Spam protection
The enquiry form counts recent submissions from your network address so that automated floods can be turned away. That count is held only briefly and is not linked to anything you send.
Asking us about your data
To ask what we hold, or to ask us to delete it, email [email protected]. If you would rather not use the form at all, that address reaches the same people.
